The American Institute for History Education
The American Institute for History Education is pleased to offer high-quality professional development for teachers of Advanced Placement courses. We will specialize in the social studies subjects. Our workshops are intended to help novice and experienced AP teachers. In addition, we encourage teachers of Honors classes to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
The AP summer workshops will be held during the week of July 26–31, 2009 on the campus of Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J.
AIHE’s Social Studies Advanced Placement Summer Workshops have been endorsed by the Middle States Regional Office of the College Board.
Courses Offered: United State History, World History, US Government and Politics
Final Registration Deadline: June 19, 2009
Resident Participant: $1,295 This includes all housing and meals (Sunday night dinner, three meals for each full day and breakfast and lunch on Friday). All meals will be served at the Student Center dining hall. Housing includes a suite style accommodation - private bedroom and shared bath with one other person.
Commuting Participant: $895 This includes continental breakfast and lunch each day along with a daily parking permit.
